Why I Do What I Do

Every once in a while, someone makes the mistake of asking me why I do what I do -- why I work in law enforcement, why I train new officers, and why I write about careers in criminology and criminal justice. I say they make the mistake because usually they get more than they bargained for when I give my answer.

Recently, I gave an interview to Michelle Brunet, who writes for the website Criminal Justice School Info. I was more than happy to talk about my passion for my job, and I thought those answers might be helpful for some of you, too.

If you're interested in criminal justice or criminology careers, be sure to explore this site, leave a comment or send me an email. I am always more than happy to talk about my chosen profession and hopefully inspire some of you to choose it, too.
