Black Friday Deals Mean Job Security for Loss Prevention Workers

As the mobs press on into retail stores across the country for Black Friday deals, loss prevention specialists and security professionals are working to keep those bargain shoppers safe and make sure business flows as smoothly and fairly as possible.

On this, the Super Bowl for brick and mortar retailers, at least one group of criminology career professionals are earning their keep. Loss prevention specialists have a tough job reducing theft on every other day of the year; how much harder and more important must it be to maintain calm and keep losses at a minimum on Black Friday?

So if you're out there shopping for great sales this Thanksgiving weekend, remember those folks who are working hard behind the scenes to keep you safe and keep those prices low.
